GOd so I’m re-reading the german Mario comics and I forgot how hilarious they are. Here’s some bits from Wario’s Christmas tale (a comic that follows your run of the mill A Christmas Carol plot, with Wario as scrooge)

You got teen Mario slow dancing with Peach, who is amicably dealing with their height difference by scuffing him by the head and using her super strength to hold him at eye level:
